I've been practicing Chinese medicine for 20 years now, and have known and studied with Steve for 25. My passions are alchemical transformation and generative states of consciousness. I am engaged in ongoing research about consciousness as well as ancient Chinese culture, philosophy and medicine. I ongoingly give talks at the annual Gebser Society Conference to share my findings. I have published 'Outside of Time' a book about 10 years of shamanic study in Peru and I'm currently creating online courses for healers about alchemy and generative consciousness.

We are on the precipice of an intense shift in consciousness that is wanting to 'irrupt' forth. As chaotic and fragmented as things are at present, I believe current events are serving as necessary catalysts to the new integral state that is forming. Each of us has an important role in its ultimate manifestation. Dedication to our own personal work and self-exploration within a supportive community helps us discover this role as well as our purpose and meaning.

I am the training director of the International Virginia Satir Institute of Germany (affiliate of the Satir Global Network), I am also the director of the IAGC Germany and have been invited as the first female full trainer on the trainer Team of Dr. Stephen Gilligan and Robert Dilts certification trainings in Generative Change work. I started off working as a corporate trainer almost by chance. I then realized I loved teaching people things they thought they had a hard time with. Selene Kumin Vega, Ph.D. is a licensed psychotherapist (CA MFC #32604), workshop leader, and faculty in Saybrook University's Mind-Body Medicine graduate program. We will use the tools of Generative Change, the Creative Mind and Transform Racism to engage in generative exchanges.


The IAGC aims to provide the structures and tools necessary to bring Generative Change work to multiple communities, including professional and cultural, throughout the world. Race is an important reality that impacts most communities.

I'm absolutely delighted to be joined by Marc J Francis, the creator of 'Walk with Me'. Marc is a British film maker, story teller and also a dear friend who I have had the good fortune to spend many an evening with, sitting around a campfire under the stars. Although we will be gathering on zoom I'm confident our evening will be warm and inviting, with Marc sharing about his journey in the making this documentary and audio book at the community and home of the world-famous Zen Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh.

We promise to make plenty of time for interactive questions and answers!

More about the documentary: Thich Nhat Hanh featured in a documentary called Walk With Me that was released in cinemas worldwide to critical acclaim. It was narrated by Benedict Cumbercatch and directed by Marc J. Francis and Max Pugh. Described by the New York Times as "Cooling to the mind and soothing to the spirit", it inspired millions of people to connect to mindfulness and Thich Nhat Hanh's teachings. In 2021, Marc J. Francis produced an audiobook, "Walk With Me in Sound" - a meditative soundscape set inside Thich Nhat Hanh's Plum Village monastery.

This session will be dedicated to exploring one of my all time favourite poems, Call Me By My True Names written by Thich Nhat Hanh in 1978. This poem is a real gem, I've found its wisdom and humanity to be real source of sanctuary over the years. It offers timeless insight into a lived experience of interdependence and non-duality - some of the the core tenets of Zen Buddhism . I've shared exercises in relationship to this poem over many years in my Soulful Artist Way courses and will be sharing them again here. Through simple creative writing exercises, and some partnered practices we will explore how to open to the space beyond and beneath conflict and seemingly incompatible parts, and deepen into our common humanity.

Coming Home to your Wild Self Late Spring 2022 I am co-guiding a weekend nature retreat in a secluded and private spot on the edge of Dartmoor.
